Who we are

The Parlour is a production studio complex in Melbourne, Australia which hosts a wide range of creatives & their businesses.

The Chapel, our 50sqm shooting studio, is designed for photographers, film makers & exhibitors. With its 6m infinity corner cyclorama & 4m ceilings, it’s an ideal space for everything from music videos to fashion shoots. Off-peak this space is also utilised for theatre productions, exhibitions & workshops.

The Parlour is curated by Filmmaker and Cultural Manager Brian Cohen. It thrives on the involvement and engagement of artists, designers, entrepreneurs, film makers, etc.

The Parlour officially launched in June 2011.

Opportunities

The Parlour is a public facing, all-access space. Participate in workshops, submit work to our various programs and call outs, volunteer or propose a performance or exhibition for the Post Lantern Night Exhibit.
